new manufacturing facility in Charleston, South Carolina.With several major contracts on the horizon, the client needed a large custom steel fabrication facility that could meet the needs of their growing business.
At the heart of the project was the critical requirement to accommodate four 100 tonne cranes in a 60 foot high structure.
The challenge of designing every detail of the structure was accepted and no stone was left unturned.The design features over five-foot high runway beams and additional steel framing at each end, and includes four massive 85-foot x 55-foot doors.What's more, it needed to withstand the harsh environmental conditions of the coastal region.Came up with a solution - white topcoat on all major steel.This method outperformed the competition.
